A pufferfish who had life-saving dental work, after her
teeth grew so big she was unable to eat. Pufferfish
teeth are naturally controlled in the wild (due to the
diet of hard shellfish), but medics managed to sedate
her and file down her teeth to enable her to eat
properly again.

This week's homework concerns words and expressions associated with
WATER.
PART A - Literal meanings
Complete the definitions below using the following words:
RIPPLES, STREAMS, POOL, FLOOD, SPLASH, TIDE, SURGE, OVERFLOW, DRIP, TRICKLES, TEEMING,
POURING

Higher taxes for the super-rich, as a group of 102
millionaires signed an open letter calling on
governments to increase their taxes. The group,

current tax system needs to be rewritten to make
taxation fairer and restore trust in politics.
